Oracle of Inclusion is an interactive AI-assisted project that creates inclusive discussion prompts for A11yTalks. It started as a rapid build, but the lasting value is practical: we use it at A11yTalks all the time to spark useful conversations, plan themes, and bring a little fun into accessibility community programming.

Project overview

The app uses a custom AI persona to turn accessibility topics, community context, and event planning needs into thoughtful prompts. It is intentionally interactive, giving people a playful way to explore ideas while still producing output that is genuinely helpful.

Like Ask Wookiee, Oracle of Inclusion reinforces that accessible design can include style, animation, sound, and personality. The experience includes user controls for light and dark modes, animations, and sounds so people can shape the interface around their preferences.

Goals

  • Support real A11yTalks planning and audience engagement
  • Make AI-assisted prompt generation feel interactive and approachable
  • Combine accessible design with sound, animation, and visual personality
  • Give users control over key experience settings

Approach

The build focused on a narrow, useful workflow: generate prompts that can help a real accessibility community event. The playful oracle theme makes the interaction more memorable, while the user controls and clear structure keep the experience practical and inclusive.

The project also shows how AI can be used as a facilitation tool instead of a novelty. By grounding the prompts in A11yTalks context, the app supports discussion, planning, and reflection in a way that fits an actual ongoing need.

Outcome

Oracle of Inclusion proves that a fun accessibility project can also be useful. It brings interactivity, user choice, and personality together in a tool that supports the A11yTalks team in regular use.
